GEALAN's Building Information Modelling data offering once again convinces the jury at the ARCHITECTS' DARLING® Award 2022 and is named the best solution in the construction industry nationwide for the third time in a row, following 2020 and 2021.

With the Planersoftware 3.0, GEALAN takes the next step when it comes to the technical planning of windows and doors. The new version supports all planning steps with well thought-out, partly new modules, from the selection of profiles to the construction of complete elements (in 2D and 3D). In addition, the Planersoftware 3.0 has been given a more modern look.

GEALAN manufactures high-quality PVC profiles for windows and doors in a resource-friendly manner that encourages responsible use and environmental sustainability. For over 25 years, GEALAN has shown that this doesn’t represent a contradiction in terms of the company’s profitability. Its past achievements are only meant as one stop along its journey: GEALAN is sparking further action in every sector possible. The goal is to become even more efficient and sustainable.

The S 9000 system platform turns 10: the versatile GEALAN all-rounder was presented and brought to market in 2012. In the past 10 years, the GEALAN system S 9000 has proven itself with almost 200 million profile metres sold worldwide.

In addition to a glimpse into the future of the window market, the International Future Forum 2022 also showcased product innovations, new developments and digital solutions for the industry. Guests from all over Europe were able to discover GEALAN’s broad portfolio of products and services on site at the headquarters in Oberkotzau as well as via the online live stream.

Two event days with a total of twelve specialist talks in ten languages, staged for GEALAN partners from all over Europe, who either attended in person or tuned in virtually: The International Future Forum 2022, held in a hybrid format for the first time ever, highlighted new products, trends and digital solutions for the window industry. More than 700 participants joined in live either via online stream or in the event tents at the GEALAN headquarters in Oberkotzau.

Start of construction for the next GEALAN milestone: The groundbreaking ceremony for a fully automated high-bay warehouse took place at the production and logistics site in Tanna. The cost of the construction project has been estimated at around 14 million euros, making it one of the largest single investments in the history of the PVC profile manufacturer. The company is planning to put the new high-bay warehouse into operation in the first half of 2024.
